Ophira has taught workshops on a variety of subjects including Gratitude, Vulnerability and Resilience in Jewish Poetry and Yehudit, the Maccabees and the poetry of Chanukkah.

Areas of interest include poetic form as a way of exploring memory, emotion and storytelling, writing the known and the unknown and themes of identity spirituality and place.
